As one of Edgar’s Restaurant’s most adoring fans, I’ve had the opportunity to eat nearly everything on the menu and many of the weekly features which have become something myself and our entire golf league look forward to each week. While most of the food Glenn Gillespie cooks is not only extraordinarily creative, it’s also very delicious, There is one dish that stands out as one of my favorite all time meals I’ve had at Edgar’s. This was a Herb Crusted Salmon, (cooked to perfection) placed neatly on top of a Portabello mushroom with yellow summer squash and topped off with BBQ crawdads. Wow!
For those of you who haven’t tried Edgar’s and you enjoy an upscale, casual atmosphere and great food, call or email and make a reservation. Meanwhile, the rest of you that have eaten at Edgar’s and have had the opportunity to enjoy one of Glenn’s unique and creative dinners, let’s vote now and help him to win the People’s Platelist award so we can see our favorite Akron Chef on ABC Nightline, he definitely deserves it.

- Lobster and Wild Mushroom Ravioli with crab cream sauce finished with scallions.
- Pan Seared Scarlet Snapper with fresh tomato sauce with basil, olives, zucchini and squash.
- Grilled Twin Lamb Loin chops with rosemary garlic mashed potatoes, red wine demi-glace, and vegetable du jour.
